Orvel Douglas is a Certified Nutrition and Diet Specialist with the International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC). He was born in Birmingham, England in 1964, and moved to the United States in 1993. His journey into nutrition started over 5 years ago, when he weighed about 198 pounds and did not like the way he looked or felt. So Mr. Douglas started reading books on nutrition and immediately started changing his diet and exercising.

In about 8 weeks time, Orvel Douglas lost 50 pounds of fat and transformed his body into a lean, muscular physique. Mr. Douglas worked out 5 days a week, training his upper body and abdominals on Monday and Friday and training his legs once a week on Wednesday. He also performed cardiovascular training in the morning on an empty stomach on the days he was not weight training. His diet consisted of 3 meals and two Myoplex protein shakes, eating every 2 to 3 hours to keep his metabolism high and to keep his body in full fat burning mode. Mr. Douglas also gave up fried foods, processed foods, salt and sugar.
